Choosing the right seal liner is one of the most important parts of assembling a safe and secure package. Induction liners are used in a variety of industries to prevent leaks by ensuring your containers are sealed. Not only do they add an extra layer of protection, but they also provide customization that can differentiate your product from others on the market. This is an overview of induction pads.

How does the seal liner work?

Plastic bottle with sealed seal liner. A seal liner, also known as a heat seal liner, is named after the process used to attach the seal to the container. The seal itself consists of three layers: heat seal, intermediate foil and backing sheet. A sensor liner is added inside the lid so that you can seal the container after filling. The user can then remove or break the seal to use your product.

The gasket attachment process requires a hand-held or automatic sealing device. Each lid should be screwed to a specific setting based on its container. Consistent torque application helps ensure you have a proper seal on every container, which is important for the hazardous materials you sell or foods that could go bad. If someone manually caps your product, there's a good chance he or she will be applying a different pound of torque each time without this knowledge.

If you're looking for an extra layer of protection in addition to unlined closures, seal liner is a great solution that can easily be added to our closures. Induction liners, also known as heat seal liners, are airtight seals on top of plastic or glass containers that are thermally bonded using electromagnetic induction after your bottle has been filled and capped. Applying pressure and heat to the seal liner for a predetermined period of time creates a seal liner that protects product freshness, prevents tampering, minimizes the chance of potential leaks, and can even add an extra level of customization to make your product stand out.
